Probably one of the more unusual photographer websites you’ll come across is the home for Ryan’s music photography. I think if there is one word to describe his photos it would be “Contrast”.

Once I started shooting that local band, Haste, I started shooting the bands they opened for and album artwork etc.

Mainly all kinds of music photography but also a lot of photographing places I go and people I see
What gear are you using?
I like Canon stuff alot
Whats your favourite lens and why?
My favorite lens is the one in the Lomo LC-A, every photographer who cares about documenting the real side of life should own a LC-A.
How are you marketing yourself?
I let the photographs do the talking for the most part, I’ve been lucky enough to have bands who support my work and share it with their fans and other bands to get my name out.
Whats your favourite photo you have taken?
This shot I took while driving in 2005. It’s going over a bridge near Huntsville, Alabama after leaving my aunt’s house to head to Birmingham. I took the drive a lot growing up and always loved the bridge.
Advice for new photographers looking to go pro?
First advice would be to not consider what you are doing as going pro or not. Just have fun shooting photographs if you can’t enjoy shooting even when you and your friends might be the only one seeing them then you’re getting into it for the wrong reasons. I don’t think of myself as a pro, just a guy who shoots a lot of photos. Oh, and unless youre in Africa don’t buy one of those cheesy photographer’s vests.
