Over the weekend if you were in the RAW group on Facebook you would have seen a post by Richard Bentley, launching Dubai III which he talks about in this video chat with him I had a few months ago.

It has taken over 20,000 still images shot over 3 weeks to create this epic 6:09 second timelapse. With an original score by Athar Saeed, Richard gear list was a 5dmkII, 24mm 1.4L II and a 14mm 2.8L II. As far as software he used Adobe Lightroom, Adobe After Effects, LRTimelapse, Avid Symphony and Adobe Media Encoder.

Dubai III has been up for only a couple of days and already has been spotted being used Illegally as other peoples work. Do the right thing, if you want to use some of Richard’s timelapse footage or anyone’s work get in contact with them and license it.
