Joel Grimes is the master of composite photography. For this weeks “Video Post Friday” I thought I would share this video on how he lit Charles Flanagan.
Joel has a show on the new [F]Network called LitUp. Where he shares some of his lighting techniques, definitely worth checking out for anyone wanting to know how he does what he does.
Joel is an avid believer in shooting with a tripod, even in a studio. The reason for this is that he believes that if you want the sharpest possible image no matter what lens, you shoot at around f8/11 and you use a tripod.
We have a few Joel Grimes videos on RAW so just seacch “Joel Grimes” in the search box.
