This all started with our weekly RAW challenge over in the Facebook Group. The challenge was street photography and there were a few questions about how one goes about it.
Instead of answering individual questions I decided to write a quick start guide to street photography which has had a pretty good response from the internet community, becoming one of the most read articles of the year so far for this blog. YAY!
Tiffen has jumped on board and given us a copy of their DFX v3.0 (valued at $169) software to giveaway one lucky entry.
The DFX v3.0 software is amazing, I find myself using it more and more. It has amazing effects that can all be customised. It’s film stocks are perfect for street photography and on the few occasions I have shot street with digital my workflow is entirely on DFX 3.0 Even the RAW conversion!

Those who attended the Getting the POP workshop would have seen me using DFX on a few different photos, from landscapes to studio portraits.
It’s really quite simple, you have until August 31st, 11:59:59pm (Western Australian Standard Time) to submit up to three (3) entries into the competition. These three entries can be related or individual, it’s completely up to you.
Good luck and I can’t wait to see your entries.
