When it first came out I remember reading the comments and many people assumed it was some kind of robot that you programmed and it would follow a set path. It was then revealed that hyper-lapsing was a completely manual exercise. So if you thought time-lapsing was tedious just imagine the patience required for a hyper-lapse.
I just came across the above video which gives a pretty good run down on how to do it, maybe someone from the RAW Community wants to give it a go.
