With Photoshop or Post Processing in general there are a 1000 ways to do something. When it comes to skin retouching everyone has their favourites and mine at the moment is extremely simple but it allows you to keep the all important skin texture. There is nothing worse than making someone look like they are made out of plastic and this method will ensure that doesn’t happen.
The majority of the work is handled by dodging and burning. Using a high contrast curves layer to see which areas need attention and then dodging or burning those areas to even them out.
